Life Altering Salads

I have some exciting news...I weighed in this morning for Weightless Wednesday and I am down to 202 pounds! That's 3 pounds down from last week alone. I'm pretty proud of myself and I only have three more pounds to go until I reach my first short term goal: be under 200 pounds. And my next goal after I achieve that goal is to lose 25 pounds by May. One thing I absolutely hate? The negative connotation of "200 pounds." That seems absolutely huge to me! Like a girl my age should never even be close to that number. But, that's me, and I'm going to own it. I think, speaking number wise, 175 is a good weight to be at. When I reach that goal, I would have lost 48 pounds. Again, seems incomprehensible.

And when I tell people my weight they're all, "You don't seem that big." Well thanks, I guess?? But I AM that big...but not for long:)
I know I can do it!

For breakfast I ate some oatmeal.
When I went to lunch with my Spanish group I noticed that one of the girls was eating a salad with feta cheese. So to try something new my salad for today was half spinach, half romaine lettuce with tomatoes, avocado, black olives, dried cranberries, feta cheese, grilled chicken, and red raspberry vinaigrette dressing. It was basically the best salad I've ever eaten in my life. I have been getting bored with my salad's lately because they had done away with my all time favorite dressings (the raspberry vinaigrette), but now it's like my whole day has turned amazing. I literally shouted when the lady told me that yes, they did in fact have raspberry dressing back. It's the little things in life, guys!

My workout today was a little unorganized and it wasn't the best, but I sweated, burned calories, and a bad workout is better than no workout at all. I've worked out four days in a row this week, and I absolutely love it. Before I head to work I will have a ham, cheese, and mustard sandwich which will be made in the comfort of my own room, and some applesauce. And I'm a little nervous because I tend to eat a lot when I go to work: french fries, cookies, and overall healthy meals. My goal for tonight? -Save money by not buying food, and not eating when I'm bored and I think that means I'm hungry. Instead, drink lots of water! We'll see how it going, wish me luck;]

Oh yeah, guess what day it is!
