Last night something happened that has never happened before in my life: I was caught up on all of my homework assignments and studying. It was an amazing feeling. And it meant that I had some time to motivate-ify my room. I've had some quotes and motivational pictures printed out for awhile, and I finally put them up around my room. I also made this.
I've been known to use food as an emotional crutch, so I made this to make sure I could distinguish when I was eating because I was actually hungry, or if I was eating for another reason. I put this on my snack drawer, so whenever I go to open it to get a snack, I see this picture of what it looks like to have a flat stomach so I'm forced to think about the fact that if I am eating just to eat, it won't help me get any closer to this body.
Weigh in: 202.2 pounds. Although this is the exact weight I weighed in last week, I'm not discouraged because I look on the bright side: I didn't gain any weight.
But now it's CRUNCH time, and I have only 10 days to reach my first goal of being under 200 pounds. I apologize for any puns that may occur throughout this blog.

Today's workout went fABulous and it RAN very smoothly;] I decided to start from scratch with the whole running thing. I know I can run for more than a couple minutes at a time, but following this 5K training schedule allows me to have a plan, execute the plan, and measure my improvement. Otherwise, I would just go run until I got tired, I had no goal, and it wasn't as rewarding.
