Slow and Steady Wins the Race

So I won't try to sit here and say I've been perfect on this diet *ahem* lifestyle, because I haven't. I don't always log my food and exercise, I cheat quite a bit, sometimes I don't have as intense workout as I should, sometimes I don't workout at all, I don't always blog, and don't always follow my weekly challenges to a T. I can tell you one thing, though. The determination is ALWAYS there. If I slack off one day, the next day I'm trying even harder. I can't be a force to be reckoned with every single day throughout this journey, it's not realistic. I'm going to have good days and bad days, but I will never stop pushing.

Although it's been a couple weeks since I've weighed in...I had my doubts about weighing in this morning. My last weigh in I was 110.8, which I was estatic about because I made it to my goal. This morning I did decide to weigh in and I came in 109.4. Which I'm still very pleased about. This last weekend I ate out twice in one weekend.  I had dessert galore. Yesterday I had a piece of cake that I made for the boyfriend's birthday and I still managed to lose a little bit of weight. Now it's not realistic to expect that I can keep carrying on this way and lose 9 pounds in 3 weeks. I will have to work hard, train tough, and eat lean.

I vow to not cheat until after my race is over. No icecream. No cookies. No chips. No cake. No sweets.  No eating out. No high calorie containing food. I can do this. I WILL DO THIS.

Here are my measurements from July 10th:
Right Calf-16.5 inches
Right Thigh-28.5 inches
Hips-48 inches
Waist-36 inches
Chest-40 inches
Right Bicep-13.5 inches

Here are my measurements from this morning:
Right Calf-16 inches
Right Thigh- 29 inches
Hips-47 inches
Waist-35 inches
Chest-39 inches
Right Bicep-13 inches

For the most part, it looks good. I will share a lesson learned about measuring though: I wish I would have had someone else do the measurements to keep me honest. I'm not sure if the measurements are 100% accurate,  even from the beginning. I know that I've made progress but it would be nice to know how much for sure. So just some advice? Have somebody else do the measuring.
