Guess what chicken butt?! I got my new running shoes today! They are Susan G. Komen New Balance shoes. Bright pink! I didn't like them at first, they were too pointy in the toe and made my foot look huge. But I ran in them for the first time tonight and dun dun nana! They were perfect. My shins, knees, ankles, or feet didn't hurt whatsoever. I ran a mile, and barely even broke a sweat. It was like running on a cloud. I can't wait to try them out tomorrow in my 5k class.
For breakfast I had my body by vi shake with blueberries and strawberries. For lunch, we went to Chick-fil-A, and I had a side salad, a fruit bowl, and a small waffle fries. NO MEAT:) Then for a snack I had a bag of apples, then for dinner, a casear salad, 11 almonds, and a fiber granola bar. I consumed 1,380 calories tonight, and hopefully burned a bunch. I felt great today, and now it's time to go to bed so I can wake up feeling just as refreshed. Unfortunately I'm going to bed alone, :( I miss my hubby, and although we got to spend some time together today, we didn't actually get to spend time together. I like to hug, kiss, hold hands, you know--show a little love. But I had the David-man today, and I feel weird, unnatural, doing that stuff in front of him, so we barely even looked at each other. I need kisses!!
ANYWAYS My goal is to be 210 pounds by Wednesday. Then lose the last twelve pounds over the month of August, and by the Hog Days Stampede, hopefully I have lost my 25 pounds which was originally my goal.
Cross those fingers, and wish me luck!
